Do you have speakers?

Yes, we have soundbar which can be plugged into a headphone socket

Do you have heating/air conditioning?

Yes, MAAN Studios is a fully heated studio in the winter months and air conditioned in the summer months. 

Do you do other bookings besides 4, 8 and 12 hour bookings?

Yes. Please contact the studio for availability. Bookings between the hours of 10am and 10pm is £29 per hour, so for example if you want a 2 hour booking between our normal opening hours of 10am and 10pm, this would be £58. Should you want booking outside these hours, the cost is £39 per hour, so for example if you wanted the studio between the hours of 8am and 10am this would be £78 in total. The minimum booking duration is two hours.

Can we pay on the day?

Payment needs to be made at least 48 hours in advance to secure your studio booking.

What are your methods of payment?

We accept all major credit cards.  You can pay online via PayPal directly on our booking site, we can send you an invoice to pay via bank transfer or securely online via credit card.

Why do you charge for over running the allotted booking time?

To minimize inconvenience to other users, as I am sure you would not appreciate having to wait around until the previous booking left. We charge an overtime fee of £15 per 15 minutes and out of hours overtime fee of £20 per 15 minutes.

I’m lost. How can I find you?

Please give us a call if you are lost. Some older sat nav systems may not have our postcode. Please use SW16 6LT (the water pumping station close by) instead. It is however advisable to check your directions before leaving for the studio as lateness cannot be compensated by overrunning your allocated timeslot. Please feel free to call us beforehand for directions.

Can we film in the studio?

Yes you can but please bear in mind we are under a converted railway arch which is still in use. Trains run at approximately every 15 mins during rush hour and less at other times.

Can I change/cancel my studio hire time or date?

Studio hire booking times can be changed if we are given 48 hours notice.

Can I arrive early to my studio hire booking time?

Set up and take down time needs to be considered within booking time, if more time is required to set up, please book the additional time by calling/emailing the studio.

Does studio hire fee include equipment?

Yes, please see our equipment list here

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, but please note MAAN studios does not accept any liability for loss or damage of customer’s equipment whilst in the studio.

Do you have wi-fi?

Yes, guest wi-fi is available and is included in the hire fee subject to reasonable usage.

Is there anything else I should know?
  • Trains run overhead as MAAN Studios is a converted railway arch.
  • There is a site supervisor on the grounds of the arches – Pepsi, the dog. 
Is there parking at the studio?

There is parking on a first come first serve basis. There is free on-street parking at the weekends and during the week there is a controlled parking zone in operation from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm on Conyers Road.
